The Resale Market has been excessively drastic in the past few years but now it is at a nice level spot perfect for buyers. Now with Interest Rates very low, this is the best time for buyers to come out and purchase and start building equity in a home.

    Allot of Resale homes are “Move In Ready” and the ones that are not are will be ready to move to by settlement. The time between writing an offer and settlement averages about 30 days, depending on your situation it could take as little as 5 days to settle or more then months to settle.

    Better Value then New Construction

    Sometimes you can find a Resale Home that might need a few small cosmetic issues and that you can fix your self and purchase the home at a better deal then a home that has been fully remodeled.

    When buying a Resale Home, the community around the home has already been incorporated and community centers or public areas are available. When buying a new home, sometimes you might still have to listen to construction for months and maybe years depending on how much more of the community has to be built. Also there are established landscaping and trees have had time to grow and flourish. In a new subdivision, they clear the land and start fresh, so you might have nice green sod on your lot, your neighboring lots, will most likely be barren dirt.
